Project Overview

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, yet millions in rural East Africa still lack this basic necessity. Our Clean Water Initiative is working to change that by constructing sustainable water sources in underserved communities.

The Challenge

In rural Kenya and Tanzania, many communities must walk several kilometers daily to fetch water from contaminated sources. This not only poses serious health risks but also prevents children (especially girls) from attending school regularly.

In rural Kenya, social norms, poverty, and limited infrastructure continue to prevent many girls from accessing quality education. Our Girls Education Program is changing this reality by addressing both the practical obstacles and the deeply rooted cultural challenges that keep girls out of school.

The Problem

Despite national progress, girls in rural communities still face:

• Early marriage and teenage pregnancy
• Heavy household and caregiving responsibilities
• Long and unsafe journeys to school
• Limited community awareness of the value of girls’ education
• Poorly resourced and overcrowded schools

School Nutrition & Health Initiative

Nourishing Children for Better Learning

In rural Moldova, economic hardship and limited access to nutritious food continue to affect children’s health and educational outcomes. This initiative supports schools in providing balanced meals, helping children stay healthy, focused, and engaged in learning.

The Problem

Many children in underserved Moldovan communities face poor or unbalanced nutrition, reduced concentration and learning difficulties, irregular school attendance and limited access to routine health monitoring.
